If a package arrives damaged, photograph the exterior and contents before opening, then contact us immediately through the Support page so we can review and resolve the issue.
Handling & Storage
Lyophilized peptides should be stored at -20°C immediately upon arrival. Keep vials in their original sealed containers with desiccant. Avoid repeated temperature fluctuations. For long-term storage beyond 6 months, store at -80°C for maximum stability.
When stored properly at -20°C in lyophilized form, most peptides remain stable for 12-24 months. Once reconstituted, peptides should be used within 30 days when stored at 2-8°C, or frozen in single-use aliquots at -20°C for up to 3 months.
No. Detailed handling protocols are not included with shipments. Product-specific information and general research context can be found on the Insights section and individual product pages. Researchers are expected to follow established laboratory procedures and institutional guidelines when working with research compounds.
Solvent selection depends on the specific compound and the experimental design. In research settings, peptides are typically handled using laboratory-grade solvents appropriate to the intended application and protocol. We do not provide reconstitution instructions. Researchers should consult peer-reviewed literature, institutional protocols, or internal standard operating procedures when selecting solvents and preparing samples.
In laboratory practice, repeated freeze–thaw cycles are generally minimized to preserve sample integrity. When necessary, researchers often aliquot materials prior to storage to reduce handling variability. Storage and handling decisions should be made in accordance with established laboratory best practices and the requirements of the specific experimental system.
Certificates of Analysis
Certificates of Analysis provide batch-specific analytical data used to verify product identity and purity. COAs typically include information such as analytical methods used (e.g., HPLC, mass spectrometry), purity results, appearance, lot or batch identification, and analyst verification. COAs are intended to support transparency and documentation for laboratory research use only.
Batch-specific COAs are available through our COA page. You can search by product name or batch reference to view the corresponding Certificate of Analysis associated with your order. Each product listing also references where applicable COA documentation can be found.
Analytical testing is performed by independent third-party laboratories, such as Freedom Diagnostics, using industry-standard analytical methods. Third-party testing helps ensure objectivity and consistency in analytical verification.
Each production batch receives a unique Certificate of Analysis at the time of manufacture. COAs are never reused between batches. If you order the same product multiple times, each shipment will reference its specific batch and corresponding COA, with current analytical data accessible through our COA page.
